Privacy Policy

PlayGram (mobile application)

Effective date: 5 April 2026

Data controller

This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use the PlayGram mobile app.

Legal entity: Value & Growth Advisory-VGA

Jurisdiction: Kuwait

Privacy & data requests: inquiry@vgaadvisory.com

For general help, see Support.

Scope

This policy applies to the PlayGram native mobile application.

Application identifier: com.vga.playgram

Information we collect

Account and profile

When you register or sign in, we collect identifiers and profile details you provide (for example name, email or phone, profile photo, and preferences). If you authenticate with a third party, we may receive a stable account identifier and basic profile information from that provider.

Location, maps, and places

With your permission, the app may access device location to show nearby content, improve search, or support features that depend on where you are. We use mapping and places services (for example Google Maps, Places, and geocoding) which process location and query data according to their own policies.

Photos, videos, and media

If you grant access, the app may read or capture photos and videos from your device (including via the photo library and camera). Media you choose to upload may be transmitted to our servers for storage, display to other users as intended by the feature, processing (such as compression or transcoding), and moderation as applicable.

Bookings, social features, and app activity

Depending on how you use PlayGram, we may process content you create or submit (such as posts, messages, bookings, or interactions with other users), device and log information related to those features, and operational data needed to run the service.

Payments

Payments may be processed by Upayment (or another processor we name in the app at checkout). We do not store your full card details on our servers when the payment processor handles card data; the processor receives transaction information needed to complete the payment.

Push notifications

If you opt in, we use push notification services (for example Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android and Apple Push Notification service on iOS) to send alerts. These services use device tokens; you can turn off notifications in system settings.

Diagnostics, stability, and security

We use Firebase Crashlytics (and similar tools) to collect crash reports and diagnostic data to fix bugs and improve stability. We may also log security-related events and use secure storage on the device for session tokens (for example via platform secure storage APIs).

Network requests

The app communicates with our backends and third-party APIs over the internet. Standard technical data (such as IP address, timestamps, and request metadata) may be collected by us or our providers as part of operating the service.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide and improve PlayGram, authenticate users, personalize content, process payments and bookings, send transactional or service messages (and marketing only where permitted and with appropriate consent), ensure safety and compliance, and analyze reliability and usage in aggregate or pseudonymous form where appropriate.

Depending on your region, we may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), consent (for optional features such as location, notifications, or marketing), or legal obligation.

Third-party services

The app integrates SDKs and services that process data under their own terms. These include:

We may add or replace providers; check in-app notices or updated versions of this policy for material changes.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Retention periods vary by data type; we delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

Sharing

We may share data with service providers who assist us (hosting, analytics, payments, customer support), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. If the business is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise rights or ask questions, contact inquiry@vgaadvisory.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

You can opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe link or settings we provide (where available). Essential service and transactional messages may still be sent.
